Most of us have had the pleasure or displeasure (depending on your view of MLM) of having a family member or friend try to persuade us to join them in this life changing opportunity that is called Multi Level Marketing. The promises of great wealth and time freedom has attracted many of us to join the ranks of the Network Marketers. If you have tried your hand at Multi Level Marketing the chances are very high that you're one of the many people who failed and did not make it pass the first year. Attrition is a considerable factor in this business. In MLM, you persevere or you perish.
Today traditional business offers so little security that network distribution has become a viable solution to many of us. The attraction to this business is that common people can invest a small amount of money, and through sheer determination and hard work they rise to staggering levels of financial reward and personal freedom.
The fact that MLM is designed for the "average person" is both a blessing and a curse.
Why?
That's because the majority of the people who join Multi Level Marketing have no intentions of working the business as a real profession. They don't understand what it takes to succeed in this business and most likely they were told that they only needed to sponsor a few people in their "downline" and they would be set for life.
You see, it's a lot easier to convince someone to join you in this business if you tell them that it doesn't require much effort and so and so made five million dollars in their first year of business. The problem with that approach is that people end up quitting within a few months because they get discouraged.
So my question then becomes "What's the point in doing something if you're not getting the results you're looking for?"
In other words why is it that in this business people are not told the truth about what it takes to become successful? In this Network Marketing section, I will be sharing with you the secrets to building a successful organization.

What is the number one reason why people quit network marketing or don't even consider it as a potential business endeavor?
The answer to this question is a combination of several things but it boils down to the fear of the unknown. Most people are not ready to spend time and money on something they do not fully trust or understand.
Here are a few examples that might relate to your situation:
Let's look at the issue of not knowing that many people.
Some people are very outgoing and they have a large circle of friends and acquaintances and they are very comfortable talking and meeting new people. These are the people that generally have success in the Network Marketing business; they are not afraid to approach strangers and rejection does not stop them from reaching a certain level of success.
Unfortunately most people are not like that and I know for a fact that I am not one of them. In the past I have joined two different Network Marketing businesses and failed miserably. I did come up with my list of names consisting of family, friends and acquaintances and called every one of them.
The result was that no one was interested and the one person that I did managed to drag to a presentation never joined.
