My Story

I'm happy that you took the time to find out more about me because getting to know the person that is writing the content of a website is vital to building a trusting relationship. Without it, there is no successful website.

My name is Alain and my story starts with my first job almost 25 years ago after completing 3 years of a commerce degree at Sudbury Laurentian University. I studied Accounting but it didn’t take me too long to figure out that although I enjoyed working with numbers; I just was not passionate about accounting.

After several years of working in that environment, my love of computers and technology pushed me towards a job in the database administrator field which I totally enjoyed up until this summer (2009). What transpired in the last couple of years is that I found myself in a work environment that was really unhealthy; you could say that getting up in the morning to go to work was becoming a chore and I was unhappy.

I was really fortunate that my wife understood and supported me by giving me a way out of this situation. I was able to quit my job to go and work with her as an Office Manager in her business.

This opportunity gave me the flexibility and the time to look into potential work from home ideas and online solutions. You see, for the last ten to fifteen years I was always searching for a work from home business opportunity where I could make money working online. I tried several online Direct Marketing businesses with no luck at all and I also researched many other types on work at home businesses but the results were always the same.
